HOUSTON -- When people hear the word organic, many think of the food they eat. However, what you wear can also be organic and help Mother Earth, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.
For two years, Lisa Hommel has sold organic clothing at the Farmers' Market.
"It is dyed with low-impact dyes, so no heavy metals. I have so many things I make and sell that need so much explanation, and signs just aren't enough," Hommel said. from a farm in Shamrock, Texas.
"It is all Texas-grown, sewn, and painted," Hommel said.
