Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility been leading the charge to
persuade Dannon to go rBGH-free too. Last summer, PSR traveled to their
headquarters in Tarrytown, NY, to present our Power Point to their
leadership, along with Michael Hansen, senior scientist at Consumers Union.
They were cordial but could make no commitments.
Dannon is the 22nd largest dairy processor in the nation and second largest
yogurt maker with 29% market share. If they follow Yoplait, a significant
majority of yogurt produced in the U.S. would become rBGH-free, a major step
forward!
They have received as many of our postcards, letters and comments as Yoplait
asking them to go rBGH-free. Please take a minute to ask them yourself by
contacting them: THIS CONTINUOUS CONTACT IS WHAT GETS RESULTS THANK YOU!
