Do We Have What It Takes for a Sustainable Lifestyle?

What is a sustainable lifestyle? What does it take to make it sustainable? How do we need to live in this new way of being? What’s not sustainable? How do we break these patterns? Leilani Henry, radio host of the KGNU radio program Connections had a provocative conversation with Ryan Zinn, national campaign coordinator for the Organic Consumers Association -- an online and grassroots non-profit public interest organization campaigning for health, justice, and sustainability.

Mr. Zinn discussed new options for sustainable agriculture, community building and simplicity. He visited Cuba recently to understand their best practices and he shared his ideas on what we can do in the USA to create a sustainable lifestyle.

Ryan has worked on food, farming and social justice issues for over a decade. Prior to joining the Organic Consumers Association in 2003, Ryan worked with Global Exchange in Chiapas, Mexico and Friends of the Earth-Paraguay.

Listen to the 60 minute program in its entirety online at KGNU.
