The Consumer Food Choices Survey was put together by Silvia Zuur, a researcher from the Agriculture Section at the Goetheanum – the Centre for Biodynamic Agriculture in Switzerland.

Silvia is interested in why it is that when asked, people say they buy organics, but in actual fact their purchasing behavior suggests that they don’t – such as could be called an action gap. Can you help us understand how to bridge the action gap by answering 12 questions in a survey? This survey has been created to look at food choices, to find a common understanding of the aspects which influence purchase behavior. Specifically the survey begins to address the action gap between intention and actual behavior through identifying various causes and influences within the context of organic food purchases. This survey incorporates information from OCA’s “Myth of Natural” campaign.
