St. Petersburg, Florida – Have you ever wondered what’s in your food? A group of people turned out in St. Petersburg on Saturday for an event called “Rally for the Right to Know.”

Participants collected signatures and passed out flyers to try to educate the public. Cindy Miller says they’re concerned about the lack of labeling on genetically modified food, or GMOs. The FDA doesn’t require it right now but organizers want that to change.

Miller says, “When you go to the supermarket right now, you know how many calories are in something – the fat – you know what oils are in there. Just to put on there that it’s genetically modified is no different. All we’re asking is that it just get labeled.”
