The Tar Sands Pipeline protests
which put prominent activists in jail this weekend–220 arrests in DC
and counting–is finally drawing big covering in the media.

Bill
McKibben, one of the leading members of the environmental movement,
went on Keith Olbermann’s Countdown last night and said that this issue
is “gut check time” for President Obama, who will be able to decide the
issue on his own.

He also went
into some detail on why this proposed project is so deadly and
dangerous, and would be “game over” for the environment, and the
“premier environmental test” for Obama.
