Frankentrees Engineers Confronted by Protesters in Washington

Foster, the largest poultry company in California completed the deal for
Zacky, the second largest, following the final regulatory approval. No cost
has been disclosed.

The deal includes the Zacky Farms plant in the Fresno district its
hatchery and feed mill as well as 35 live production ranches and the Los
Angeles distribution centre. Foster Farms says it plans to integrate the
Zacky operations into its own organisation. The Zacky turkey, deli and
processed meats operations of Zacky will remain under the management
of the Zacky family.

About 1,500 employees from the Zacky chicken business have transferred to
Foster Farms.
