The Hayden bill for labelling biotech food is SB 1513.

One of our activists writes:
the website where i found it is www.assembly.ca.gov the full text of the law is
available there by clicking legislation, and the author is hayden, the
bill is a senate bill and it is the current session. The bill looks
pretty good to me. I think we should support it. I would like one
addition:that the center for reponsible genetics was recommending: that
the label also say what species of gene has been inserted into this
food. it would fit in 17592 as since that is the section that describes
what the label would say. Most of you know more about this than I do.
If you have any other suggestions, please send them to senator hayden.
I would appreciate discussion on this matter. I also think it is
important that we let our senators know we support labelling.
