Los Angeles, CA - In an effort to highlight growing concerns over the
potential health and environmental dangers of genetically engineered food,
The Organic Consumers Association, GE Free LA and other groups will conduct
a press conference and public dumping of genetically engineered foods at two
Trader Joe's supermarkets in Los Angeles. The food dumps are part of
"Resistance is Fertile" an international week of action action against
engineering.
SOUTH PASADENA FOOD DUMP
When: Tuesday April 4th, 11:30 AM
Where: Trader Joe's, 613 Mission Street, South Pasadena
Who: GE Free LA, Organic Consumers Association, Action Resource Center and
the Southern California Trade Network
