About TravelOrganic
TravelOrganic
has been online since August 14, 2002 and quietly growingorganically
one might say. We have had over 118,000 visitors since we started
and average between 300-1000 visitors a day presently. We continue
to grow by word of mouth each month, so if you found us helpful,
tell a friend or two or better yet, support us with an annual
membership. Membership is the way we support our continued search
for organic choices in more cities and countries.
Who We Are
Greg Madsen, Founder-Editor in Chief
As
founder of TravelOrganic, Greg's motivation for this directory
was his success in overcoming an allergy problem through treatment
and support from a Naturopathic Doctor, converting to a chemical
free, organic diet and by initiating changes to his environment
and lifestyle. Additionally, his concern over the state of the
environment, current farming methods, decline in healthy water
sources, and other concerns, provided additional motivation
for a website such as this. Greg enjoys cycling, gardening,
and is a passionate traveler. He is currently renovating his
house with his wife, using non toxic materials, green/sustainable
building methods and recycling as much of the old house as possible.
