April 19th is an exciting day in Harrison County! Not only is Cynthiana hosting the 6th annual Raggedy Ann Festival, but a group of young environmentalists and other enthusiastic individuals are coordinating an inaugural Earth Day celebration. Earth Day at the Park combines educational, informational booths with fun games, activities, kite-flying, and a scavenger hunt. A walk-a-thon at the event will be open to all students, and proceeds will be used to better the community's park. Visitors are encouraged the check out the area soon to become a federally-funded wetland. Come for a day of family fun as we celebrate the planet.
