  Since 1997, BDWG has remained focused on producing high quality, architectural elements in concrete.We are constantly reinventing ourselves to stay on the leading edge of green technologies. Our products and ingredients are locally sourced, and we employ a "zero waste" manufacturing process. Although our annual production has increased, our cement consumption has decreased. Substituting recycled pozzolanic fines(fly-ash) for part of our cement requirments, and impementing a lightwieght GFRC(glass fiber reinforced cement) mix has allowed us to reduce our footprint even more. Owner and founder Andy McDaniel, who holds a degree in Appropriate Technology from Appalachian State Univ. says this...."We've always been green, and it feels good knowing the mainstream is finally catching on."
