  We raise pastured poultry and forested pork on a chemical-free farm lease in White Post, VA (just east of Winchester, VA). All our animals are fed non-GMO grain to supplement what they forage in the pasture and forest. We do not use medications or hormones or any chemicals. Our chickens are raised in clean, bright, open-air brooders where we spread fresh sawdust bedding as needed until they are ready for the pasture. From then on they are either free-ranged or kept in movable pens where they have all the sunshine they want and access to forage. They love to eat all manner of grasses and bugs as well as their natural grain. We raise our pork in the forest where they love the ample shade and eating the leaves of saplings, as well as acorns and grubs an lots of produce. They go crazy for the acorns and the grubs they find in the woods as well as their non-GMO feed. We sell by the whole, half or by the cut.
