  Cascade Farm is a local farm that has undertaken the goal of reaching sustainability though an association of our CSA Program and Cascade Farm School. CSA farms provide an opportunity for farm members to collectively support local farming, build community, and provide education. The resulting farm harvest is divided among the member families each week during the growing season. For the 2009 growing season (May 28- October 8) a share costs $525. Cascade Farm School offers a forum and model for education, engaging students of all ages as well as adults, to understand and take responsibility for the source of their food. The balance between the CSA (farming opportunities) and the Farm School (learning opportunities through farming) based on sustainable principles, holds validity as a catalyst for positive social change and growth as well as local community growth and nurture.
