  Wooded trails nestled on a hillside take visitors to view over 60 birds of over 30 native species in large outdoor aviaries. These raptors (hawks, eagles, owls, falcons and more) are permanent residents at the center, non-releasable because of injury or imprinting, and are ambassadors for co-existence and sustainable use of our shared world. Open Tuesday thru Sunday, and Monday holidays, year-round. Summer hours (Apr-Oct) 10am-6pm; Winter hours (Nov-Mar) 12noon-5pm. Located next to the Ridgeline Trail, a hiking trail through over 200 acres of undeveloped city parks, including up Spencer Butte for a beautiful view of some of the Cascade Mountains and up the Willamette Valley.
