The Fauna Foundation has four main projects in order to accomplish its objectives:
Biomedical research chimpanzee retirement program
Farm animal sanctuary program
Education programs teaching the public about
factory farming and organic alternatives and the need
to protect our environment.
Founded in 1997 by Dr. Richard Allan and Gloria Grow, the Fauna Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to creating a caring environment for neglected and abused farm and circus animals, and former biomedical research chimpanzees and to fostering through education a better understanding of these creatures.
