  I am a long time member of the Maine Association of Independent doulas (M.A.I.D.) since 2002. M.A.I.D.'s mission is to provide community education about birth options and doula supported childbirth. In addition,as part of Island Baby, I host bi-monthly Teas for families with small children and babies to provide networking and support in the community. I also offer and facillitate a Nearly born, Newly Born Mother & Baby group. Mothers & babies enjoy a morning of songs, snacks and conversation, while connecting with their babies.
