  Mount Vernon Farm is a 100% Grass Fed, Grass-Finished Beef, Lamb, and Pastured Pork & Poultry Farm. We utilize holistic, sustainable, and humane practices to bring the consumer the best possible product. Our animals are raised without the use of growth hormones, antibiotics, and zero pesticides or herbicides are sprayed on our pastures. On our 230 acres of pastureland we sustainably raise cattle, lambs, and pigs. The farm is under a conservation easement and has won awards for its Chesapeake Bay friendly riparian conservation and grazing practices. We work with the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) through the USDA to fence cattle out of the waterways on the farm.
