• Description:
  I am a certified birth doula who serves the Waldo, Knox and Kennebec counties. I am certified with both DONA International and CAPPA - two internationally recognized, and highly respected, doula organizations. I provide personalized childbirth preparation, including consultation on writing a birth plan. During your labor and birth I will provide continuous physical and emotional support. I will also stay with you up to two hours after the birth in order to help establish breastfeeding and start the bonding process. I am available for both home and hospital births. I offer a minimum of two prenatal interviews and one postpartum interview. I will be on-call for you beginning two weeks before your due date. However, I am available for you from the time you decide to hire me. I am also the mother of three boys and two girls. I have been married to my best friend for 20 years and counting!
