Like most of you I was disillusioned, or rather disgusted, by the shallowness and hypocrisy of political discourse and campaigning leading up to the mid-term elections of November 8. The 24/7 political posturing and hysterics, the so-called “fight to save Democracy,” proved once again that left and right, red and blue (or green), Democrat and Republican, have very little meaning or integrity nowadays. Neither party (including the Green Party, which I once supported), nor their candidates offered up real solutions for our continued manipulation and domination by the national and international ruling elite and the Deep State, the Pharma-Silicon Valley-military-industrial complex.
Neither party talked about putting an end to the bloody and dangerously escalating war in the Ukraine, heading off a pending war with China, and solving the global hunger and poverty crisis that fuels the civil wars and forced migration in the Global South. No one talked about the Frankenstein at the Door—the ongoing, out-of-control genetic engineering of everything—and the biological and nuclear arms race that threatens not only a new pandemic, but our very survival.
Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans talked about the links between the global food crisis, Big Ag and Big Food poisoning us and our children, Big Pharma poisoning us with toxic drugs and gene-therapy “vaccines,” corporations polluting our environment, Silicon Valley and giant media conglomerates (and their advertisers), eating up our time, warping our minds, and surveilling us, and the overall alarming state of our health—mental, physical, and spiritual. Not a single candidate (or at least very few) talked about actually solving the climate crisis and the rural economic crisis with a combination of renewable energy, energy conservation, and organic and regenerative food, farming, and land use.
Name me a single politician who campaigned on making people and the environment healthier with organic food and farming; who told the full truth about COVID-19 (its origins, nature, virulence, mandates, treatment, and prevention) and the dangerous and ineffective rushed to market “vaccines” that now have injured or killed millions; who talked sense about negotiating peace in Ukraine and working together with other nations to solve the planet’s ever more threatening crises (food, energy, climate, poverty), instead of waging war or escalating sanctions; and who supported bodily integrity and freedom of choice for everyone (women’s right to choose abortion and everyone’s right to choose whether or not to be injected with an experimental drug). Name me one candidate for office that laid out a real program for improving the living standards and quality of life for all Americans, especially our children, our grandchildren, and our elders, based upon real life, presently-existing best practices (such as organic food and farming and regenerative health practices) that desperately need to be financed and amplified all across the nation and the world.
Establishment politicians and both major political parties in the U.S. have proved once again that they are morally and politically corrupt, out of touch with the needs and aspirations of everyday people, the middle class, the working class, and low-income communities alike. My estimate—please correct me if I’m wrong—is that 90% percent or more of the nation’s 500,000+ elected and appointed officials need to be thrown (voted) out of office.
OCA is ready to roll up our sleeves and plant the seeds of peace and disarmament, not war. We are ready to join arms together with the overwhelming majority of people who are fed-up and determined to regenerate, not just our food and farming and our health, but our politics as well. We don’t have to agree on every single issue in order to work together. But we must move beyond the empty politics, hyper-partisan polarization, and moral depravity of the Establishment Democrats and Republicans (and the billionaires and millionaires who aid and abet this madness.)
Watch Russell Brand on how the Mid-Terms have distracted us from the fact that we are drifting toward nuclear war in Ukraine.

Sam Husseini writes:
“Back in September, I bumped into Nancy Wallace, who was running for Green Party candidate for governor of Maryland.
She pitched me on writing pieces she wanted to get published. I heard her out and then told her about my work on pandemic origins.
She [told] me that she was ‘5,000% on board with the questioning’ of COVID origins but that ‘I don't want the campaign to touch the pandemic origin issue.’
She would [later] write me: ‘It's hard enough getting basic legitimacy with the voters when they can't see any mention of us in the press, major yard signs, etc. There are much more immediate, important, local and global issues such as criminal justice reform, climate change, marijuana legalization approaches (there are several variations) that matter to the voters.’ Citing no evidence, she added: ‘Basically numbers wise, no significant number of voters will change their vote based on this pandemic issue.’
She also told me ‘My father died from the swine flu emergency government vaccine’ in the 1970s. Also: ‘I nearly died a year and a month ago, with a beginning heart attack but got to the emergency room in time — 5 weeks after the Pfizer COVID vaccine.’
But she didn’t want the campaign to address vaccine mandates as well.
I responded to Wallace: ‘You're disregarding your own personal lived experience, as well as that of your father, for what you *think* is the politically shrewd thing to do.
You're also likely ignoring the concerns and lived experiences of millions of people -- possibly a majority of the public.
And then you wonder why people go right-wing.
Maybe it's because some right-wingers actually give voice to some legit concerns.’
COVID upended every life in the US over the last two and a half years. It’s remarkable how the Democrats in the House have blocked any real move to investigate the origins of the pandemic. And given that it’s effectively an issue of biowarfare, that progressives have stayed silent or worse, become apologists. And it's remarkable how little the Republicans stressed the origins of the COVID pandemic as a campaign issue. (Though, what lobby would push the issue, there’s no counter to the Big Money of Big Pharma.)
It’s virtually impossible to try to establish causality, but Republicans who did question the establishment claims on pandemic origins like Sen. Rand Paul and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had strong showings on Tuesday.
Paul went up from 57.3% in his last election cycle to 61.8% in this year.
Paul gained notoriety by repeatedly questioning Biden's head medical advisor Anthony Fauci on COVID origins. Fauci and much of the establishment pretended from the beginning of the pandemic that it could not have lab origin, which was a ridiculous falsehood. A reckoning on this issue is long overdue and with a few exceptions, the Republicans did not seize the political opening.
Indeed, Paul declared his victory party Fauci’s retirement party, see video.
Gov. Ron DeSantis jumped from 49.6 in his last run to 59.4 this year. DeSantis, like Paul, has questioned a number of aspects of COVID policy, but has also called for an investigation into the origins of the pandemic.
In the House, Rep. Michael McCaul who led by producing a report—"The Origins of Covid-19: An Investigation of the Wuhan Institute of Virology"—for the House Republicans on the Foreign Affairs Committee saw his numbers jump over ten points from 52.5% in 2020 to 63.7% in 2022."

The Institute for Agriculture and Food Policy and GRAIN write:
“The global food system is addicted to chemical fertilizers. For the past 50 years, these fertilizers have been heavily promoted by global institutions, governments and agribusiness as the means for increasing crop yields, while other options for increasing soil fertility and food production have been ignored or undervalued. As a result, worldwide use of chemical fertilizers has increased tenfold since the 1960s. Some credit chemical fertilizers for enabling global food production to keep up with population growth, but their use has come at a high cost.
Chemical fertilizers are, today, major sources of water and air pollution. Overuse is widespread and an important cause of soil health degradation; proper use requires support and extension services that are rarely available. Chemical fertilizers account for 2.4% of global emissions, or one out of every 40 tons of global greenhouse gas emissions.
This year, the bill for these energy-intensive products has hit new heights. With the world in the midst of an energy and climate crisis, prices for chemical fertilizers are at record levels. Fertilizer corporations are using their market power to capture mega profits, while farmers and governments are scrambling to try and cope with the added costs, especially in the global South. High fertilizer prices are putting food production at severe risk in many places. In early October 2022, the United Nations warned that, if immediate action is not taken to bring fertilizer prices down, there could be a global shortage of food.”

“A broad coalition of Mexican lawmakers is pushing to ban nearly 200 chemicals used in pesticides, saying they endanger human health, and the plan has alarmed farmers who say the move could devastate the country's food production.
There is a growing movement in Mexico against the use of pesticides and genetically modified crops, but some in the government have said the latest proposal goes too far, too fast…
Supporters say the proposal puts Mexico at the heart of a global movement to restrict dangerous pesticides. Critics warn it would go well beyond steps taken in other countries seen as tough on pesticides such as in Europe, banning chemicals allowed in those places.
"There will be those who do not agree... But most of us are supporting our president's project and we are going to win the vote," MORENA Senator Ana Lilia Rivera, one of the lawmakers behind the initiative, told Reuters.
Asked about the proposal during a regular news conference on Wednesday, [Mexico President] Lopez Obrador said it was important to put health first…”

Lena, aka “Tessa Fighting Robots,” writes in Mercola.com:
“We are living under a mob. Once we get this, everything makes sense. Mobsters in charge have big loads of money and big loads of tricks; but their power greatly depends on us being afraid or confused. On the existential level, what we are up against is ‘unlove,’ the hatred of free-roaming life. We have all the power to choose what’s right, to pray from our hearts, and to protect each other from the mob… Many of us have asked ourselves again and again what is wrong with the people who seem to hate life so much that they just want to destroy everything they touch. They are really bothered by the existence of anything with free will, anything they don’t control! They are so addicted to control that the existence of free will makes them hurt!
They are addicted to power. They need their high. And so, the petty censors, the delusional tyrants, the cruel emperors of our times are driven nuts by free-roaming life. The proverbial globalists of today, just like the conquistadors, the kings, and the big generals of the past ... they just can’t walk past free-roaming life without desiring to get it enslaved or killed, in order to make it work for them…”

In the Foreward to the new book, Grass-Fed Beef for a Post-Pandemic World, by Ridge Shinn and Lynn Pledger, renowned holistic rancher Gabe Brown writes:
“It seems that every day we wake up to a new crisis, from the COVID-19 pandemic and high fuel prices to empty store shelves and war in Ukraine. Our world is in a constant state of change. While many cry doomsday, some, like Ridge Shinn and Lynne Pledger, know that the secret to resiliency in a changing world can be found through healthy soil, created with the help of grazing ruminants.
Relying on a lifetime of experience with cattle and resource conservation, Ridge and Lynne take us on a journey through production agriculture in the United States. They explain how farmers and ranchers went from grazing livestock on pasture to confining cattle in grassless pens where grain and by-products are brought to them—grain and by-products that are grown with synthetics (fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides) and the heavy use of fossil fuels. These practices, in no small part, have led to the degradation of our soils, our waters, and, at least to some degree, our health.
This has led many to vilify animals, cows in particular, and falsely claim that they are largely responsible for climate change. This book helps to set the record straight: This new method of grazing cattle has a net climate benefit. As Ridge and Lynne so truthfully state, 'Regenerative grazing will change the way our society thinks about beef, because the grazing itself is as significant as the meat.'”

Matt Taibbi writes in Substack:
“The star [Tim Robbins] of films like The Player and Bull Durham opens up about two tough years of pandemic politics, and worries society is purposefully phasing out the common meeting space… After the COVID-19 crisis began, actor Tim Robbins was like everyone else in suddenly having both more time to think, and more unpleasant things to think about.
‘I wondered,’ [Robbins] recalls now, ‘What happens when you eliminate the water cooler conversation?’
Would we miss that ‘difficult conversation with someone who’s not one of your friends, but a coworker and a human being,’ who’s ‘saying something that is not the way you see the world, but he’s right there and you have to hear it?’ Robbins felt we might, because confronting a live human being forces people to use parts of their brain the Internet encourages them to bypass… Robbins goes on: ‘These last few years, they’ve taught me so much, about what is right, what is wrong. There’s so much empowerment of people that feel that they are being incredibly virtuous and generous, yet are doing things that are not very kind to other people. I think we’ve lost ourselves during this time. Just a brief stroll through social media and you’ll find that out. (laughs) The internet has become like a bar that you go to, and you open the door, and everyone yells, ‘Fuck you! Get out!’”

Special screenings of the new documentary, The Assassination & Mrs. Paine, are happening on the 59th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
In DC, we're showing the film on Tuesday, November 22 at 7 pm at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at 630 Rhode Island Avenue NE, Washington DC, 20002.
If you’re not in the DC area, catch the film in Dallas or watch it online.
Director Max Good will be at the DC screening with special guests Max Blumenthal (Editor, The Grayzone News) and Sue Wheaton, who appears in the film.
Sue Wheaton is the driving force behind COVIDorigins.org and the weekly Indict Fauci rallies outside the National Institutes of Health. She wrote the annotated timeline, “U.S. Bioweapon Development and COVID-19.”
In the 1980s and 90s, Sue was involved in peace and justice organizing in Nicaragua. It was there, in 1991, that she had a very strange run-in with Ruth Paine.
Sue recognized Mrs. Paine as the one who had marshaled the incriminating evidence that framed Lee Harvey Oswald as the lone assassin of President John F. Kennedy. The official story relies heavily on the legend of Mrs. Paine’s Garage.
But, Sue also knew that, on the day after the assassination, on November 23, 1963, Ruth was overheard talking to her husband Michael on an FBI-tapped phone line, admitting she knew that Oswald wasn't responsible. Michael said, “We both know who is responsible.”
Was she on assignment for the CIA when she placed Oswald at the scene of the crime in 1963?
If so, was she working for the CIA posing as a Quaker peace activist in Nicaragua?
The Assassination & Mrs. Paine takes an objective view laying out this and many pieces of evidence, allowing the viewer to decide.
The most significant among these are the lengthy interviews filmmaker Max Good conducted with his subject. He leaves it to us to discern Ruth Paine’s credibility.
Watch the film in DC.
Or catch the film in Dallas or watch it online.
