TOXIC EXPOSURES

Making Our Children Sick

Regeneration Health International Pediatrician Dr. Michelle Perro writes:

“So many ill children reveal the ways we have outgrown our medical model and our predominant food production systems.  The problems our kids suffer from most persistently today are complex, arising from a multisystem dysfunctional biological catastrophe, particularly in relation to immunity, autoimmunity, and the health sequelae that arise from these problems.  These diseases suggest a body that is both confused and collapsing under the pressure of so many toxic exposures.  If we are looking for evidence that our food systems have failed us, we should pay attention to these children.”

“We have a generation of children whose chronic illnesses do not resemble those of the previous generations.  Our kids are sicker than their parents, and arguably sicker than their parents were when they were children, regardless of our agricultural and pharmaceutical 'advances.’  Clinical evidence indicates that we are doing something wrong. Quite possibly what we are doing wrong today started with the changes to our food production that began just before most of these kids were born.  The vital question is: How do we get out of this mess?

MANDATES

Numb and Annoyed

In the wake of the pandemic, many of us are trying to regain our mental and physical health and come to terms with our outrage. Tessa Lena, aka Tessa Fights Robots, reports:

“Last week, my home city of New York lifted the mandates. They kinda, sorta lifted the mandates. Some places are still enforcing them, and the toddlers are still required to wear the Mask, and cabs still require the Mask, and our strict masters left the door open to introduce mandates again whenever they please ... But nominally, for now, until the cyberpandemic with coronavirus properties unexpectedly hits, or until we need to lock down for ‘climate’ or aliens or the Russians or whatever they say, the mandates have been lifted, they say. No mandates. How do I feel? Oh hooray, I guess. Our masters are merciful and occasionally generous. They ‘gave us our freedoms back.’ Hooray. They’ve managed to turn basic independent existence into a privilege to be earned. Hooray.”

“So if you really want to know how I feel, I feel numb and annoyed. I feel like a collective rape has occurred, and the rapist has put on his trousers and left. And here we are.”

DUMP DIRTY DAIRY

Closing a Giant Dairy Loophole

After years of fighting against corporate and government corruption of organic standards, including a USDA loophole allowing heifers from conventional dairies (fed with cheap, imported, often fraudulent GMO grains) to be added to organic dairy herds, giving large confinement dairies an advantage over smaller grass-fed family farms, the organic community appears to be gaining a victory.

According to the Vermont Digger:

“The U.S. Department of Agriculture has decided to close a loophole in the National Organic Program, a long-awaited step that advocates say will strengthen faith in the organic dairy label and level the playing field for farmers across the country.”

“We should be celebrating this,” said Nicole Dehne, certification director of Vermont Organic Farmers. “We have been advocating for this change for many, many years.”

The Real Organic Project (ROP) in their April 3 newsletter stated:

“After decades of lobbying the National Organic Program, last Tuesday the USDA, at last, announced an Origin of Livestock Final Rule. It will require all certified organic dairy cows to be raised as organic from the last third of gestation. This will close a giant loophole that industrial ‘organic’ dairies have been using to cut their costs by raising calves on conventional feed and then cycling them back into organic production for milking. If there is enforcement, the industrial dairies will be required to do what is simply a given for the real organic dairies.”

ROP went on:

“In early March, Organic Valley announced that they are sending ‘letters of intent’ to purchase the milk from approximately 80 farms that were dropped by Horizon last fall. While priority will be given to the current members of the OV cooperative, the hope is that these farms will become contracted coop members over time. In these difficult times for organic dairies, Organic Valley has made a good-faith effort to do what is right by these farms, in stark contrast to the treatment they have gotten from Horizon.”

REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE

Can Large Confinement Dairies Actually Become Regenerative?

Gosia Wozniaca in Civil Eats reviews the efforts of several large corporate dairy brands (Danone/Horizon, General Mills, and Stonyfield), some of whose farms are certified USDA organic, some not, to reduce their carbon footprint and improve the environment even as most of their suppliers continue to feed herbivore cows grain and keep them confined in barns most of the year. Are these dairies and dairy brands truly moving in a regenerative direction, or is this just another example of corporate greenwashing, with minimal improvements designed to increase corporate profits?

Read the article and decide for yourself: Is the Future of Big Dairy Regenerative?

Last fall Wozniacka wrote about a large (1,800 cows and 2,500 acres) ROC-certified (Regenerative Organic) free-range dairy and chicken operation, Alexandre Family Farm in Northern California, that truly is regenerative. MILLIONS AGAINST MONSANTO

Seed Money: Monsanto’s Monstrous History

GM Watch reviews a new book by Bartow J. Elmore on Monsanto, a company OCA and our allies have been fighting against for decades.

As Jonathan Matthews points out, Seed Money: Monsanto’s Past and Our Food Future:

“Despite being deeply researched, the book provides a lively and lucid account of the massive toxic impact Monsanto has had on our world, as well as the company’s unsuccessful attempt to escape its toxic legacy by shapeshifting into the world’s largest seed company and a pioneer in genetic engineering in agriculture…”

Edmund Russell, President of the American Society for Environmental History, says Seed Money is likely to “become the book on Monsanto”, adding, “Anyone interested in biotechnology, or the relationship between corporations and the environment in general, cannot afford to ignore this important book.” Long-time Monsanto watcher Tom Philpott is equally enthusiastic in reviewing what he calls this “wonderful new book” and, like Russell, he sees it as the “definitive historical account.”

SUPPORT THE OCA & CRL

Blowing the Whistle

As the pandemic wanes and a new Cold War heats up, OCA remains committed to blowing the whistle on Big Biotech, Big Ag, Big Food, Military Madness, Big Pharma crimes, government complicity, and the global elite’s diabolical Great Reset. OCA will expose the continuing insanity of genetically engineered and weaponizing viruses and pathogens in badly regulated, accident-prone “dual-use” labs such as those financed by the Pentagon and the U.S. government in the Ukraine, and in your backyard.

At the same time, building upon the increased demand for organic food and natural health supplements and practices, especially since the beginning of the pandemic, we are launching a new campaign with our allies across the world called Regeneration Health International, designed to complement our work on regenerative food, farming, and land use.

But OCA needs your financial support and your help in circulating our newsletter, petitions, social media posts, and videos. Please help us usher in a new era of organics, natural health, and regenerative practices.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

GAIN-OF-FUNCTION

Biolabs in Your Backyard? Take Action

Did you know that genetic engineering isn’t used just in food and agriculture, but also to weaponize pathogens and create biological weapons?

It’s not surprising when you learn what Monsanto was doing before it came up with its first GMOs for food production.

Monsanto was working as a military contractor. It made Agent Orange for the Vietnam War, and earlier in the 1960s and 70s, refined plutonium for the Manhattan Project that produced the atomic bombs we dropped on Japan in World War II.

Monsanto also participated in tests to study the dispersal of biological weapons—tests that were conducted without notice or consent on the people of St. Louis, Missouri, in the 1950s and 60s. This story is documented in the book Behind the Fog: How the U.S. Cold War Radiological Weapons Program Exposed Innocent Americans.

If you’re just as concerned about GMOs used for biological weapons as you are about GMOs in food and agriculture, please…

Sign the petition to stop the genetic engineering of dangerous pathogens.
