The Truth About Synthetic Food
Say no to synthetic food!
SynBio, or “Synthetic Biology”, is a process of creating genetically engineered bacteria that excrete specific compounds. These compounds are then used to create synthetic foods, such as synthetic meat, synthetic milk, synthetic coffee, etc. The resulting synthetic foods are untested, unlabeled, and in our opinion unsafe. And on top of that, the genetically engineered bacteria used to create these synthetic foods may pose significant environmental risks if they were to escape the lab. Furthermore, these products promote a future with no farm animals, an idea that ignores the necessary and beneficial role animals play in regenerative agriculture.
We need a regenerative future. We need real farms, not fake food!
