Registration starts at $45 for general admission, and $25 for students. The registration fee includes organic drinks and light refreshments (including beer and wine) on Friday night, and breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday.

The event kicks off with an afternoon tour on Friday, starting at noon. Join us as we explore regional organic food systems, with a guided tour of the USM Food Forest Garden, Broadturn Organic Farm, and a Healthy Living Center in Portland, featuring a rooftop garden and sustainable kitchen. The tour is included with registration fees, however space is limited, so you must RSVP to attend.

Friday night will feature a live performance of Rachel Carson’s “A Sense of Wonder,” and book signing from Kristin Ohlson, author of “The Soil Will Save Us” which makes the case for focusing on soil biodiversity as a climate solution.

Organic Consumers is proud to be a sponsor of this conference, which offers Mainers an opportunity to meet and learn from the best scientists, lawmakers, activists and farmers working to protect humans and the environment from pesticide contamination.

Other featured guests include the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) Chair Aaron Blair, Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-ME), Former USDA researcher Dr. Jonathan Lundgren, and many more.
