Nebraska Displays Sustainability

Nebraska's Lieutenant Governor, Mike Foley, came to town Wednesday to talk about sustainability.

Private Land Partners Day is a time where people from around the nation can come together to discuss sustainability and conservation efforts. Today marks the eighth year that it is celebrated and the first year that it is held in Nebraska.

"Build on this whole concept of sustainability." Foley said. "Make sure that this land, as beautiful as it is, is available to our farmers and ranchers for future generations. So that's what these folks are all about. These people really appreciate the beauty of the land and the importance of the land."

To see how Nebraska handles it's sustainability, the partners took a tour around the state to all of the most scenic natural locations and discussed how each area is treated to keep it sustained.
