Philadelphia will be putting on a Fair Trade Market again this year.
The Market will take place on November 14, from 11-1. Last year,
approximately 12 vendors came and attracted anywhere from 300 to 400

When citizens send e-mails to their congressmen through the Web sites of lobby groups, they expect those messages to zip electronically to the place they intended.
It turns out that isn't always the case.
A new study by a company that routes thousands of these e-mails to Congress shows that plenty of constituent e-mails never reach lawmakers' offices.

This essay will reveal how the false flag operation of 9/11 will transform our nation and world away from a sick war based poverty imposing global order into an era of truth and hope that will begin a global healing unseen by humanity.

On December 13, 2004, a month after the re-election of George W. Bush, twenty-five of the wealthiest donors in the progressive community gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington for an important strategy session. The group had collectively poured hundreds of millions of dollars into the effort to defeat Bush--and had nothing to show for it. Yet the despair of John Kerry's defeat provided an urgent call to arms. "The US didn't enter World War II until Japan bombed Pearl Harbor," Erica Payne, a New York political consultant who helped organize the gathering, told the donors.

MANTON - Every week, Heather Deitrick and her 6-year-old son Spencer can be found sorting through fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs at the Pond House Farm in Manton.
Although it might be more convenient to stop by the grocery store, the Cadillac family has been making their weekly excursions to the Manton farm to pick fresh produce for almost four years now. What makes taking a trip to the farm more favorable to the Deitricks is the fact that the produce is organically certified.

Studies have found that more than 50 percent of children arriving at school had not had breakfast.
Denver Public Schools is trying to change that. The district is offering free breakfast to all students regardless of financial need.
Experts said kids who eat breakfast have higher test scores, make fewer errors and are more cooperative in the classroom.
Currently 11,000 DPS students eat breakfast at school everyday but school officials hope that number doubles with the new program.
