SARS-CoV-2, the Devious Child of ‘Chimerica’?

Millions have died. What if both China and America (and specifically its medical-industrial complex and defense sector) are responsible for the involuntary unleashing of the COVID-19 pandemic through reckless research performed in an unsafe lab?

Probably you have already heard about the lab accident hypothesis. According to it, SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, escaped from a laboratory in the Chinese city of Wuhan. And in all likelihood, you know that many have dismissed this hypothesis as a “conspiracy theory.”

Well, it is not. On the contrary, it is a plausible assumption that is being intentionally discredited by scientists and experts belonging to what some have termed as the pandemic industrial complex — or, more broadly, the so-called medical-industrial complex — in America.

Why this smear campaign? Possibly because relevant members of this complex actively partnered with Chinese scientists, at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and elsewhere, performing — or more broadly promoting — dangerous research that, through an unwanted accident, might have started the pandemic (as I’ll try to discuss later in this article).
