The Origins of Ebola - A Conversation with Sam Husseini

Independent Science News just published the in-depth piece “Did West Africa’s Ebola Outbreak of 2014 Have a Lab Origin?” by virologist Jonathan Latham, the editor of ISN, and journalist Sam Husseini.
The piece’s ramifications are profound and have a serious bearing on what has transpired with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Husseini and Latham examine evidence that suggests the outbreak arose in the vicinity of a US-funded virus research facility in Kenema, Sierra Leone. The research focus of this lab, which is run by the US-based Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium (VHFC), are the viral hemorrhagic fevers of which Ebola is one.
Several individuals and institutions referenced in the piece were involved in the virus hunting and so-called “gain-of-function” (bioweapons) research that many suspect led to SARS-CoV-2, as well as the cover-up that suppressed evidence of a lab origin of COVID-19.
