2,500 Supermarkets Will Distribute Free Organic Food Samples on Earth Day

Throughout April, millions of Americans will join with 18 U.S. supermarket chains and more than 50 organic product manufacturers to "Go Organic! for Earth Day." Presented by Earth Day Network and the Organic Trade Association in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Earth Day, the "Go Organic! for Earth Day" campaign invites families to explore the value and taste of organic food at 2,500 supermarkets.

"If you care enough about the environment to recycle and use energy- efficient appliances, then the next step is to buy organic products," says Michael Martin, campaign coordinator.
