COVID ORIGINS

Is COVID Lab Leak Cover-Up on the Verge of Collapse?

Dr. Mercola reports:

“In January 2022, House Oversight Committee Republicans released a batch of emails sent to and from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit brought by Jimmy Tobias at The Intercept also forced the release of unredacted NIH correspondence.

The emails reveal there was great concern among NIH leadership, as SARS-CoV-2 appeared to be a genetically engineered virus that somehow escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China.

The emails show they were nervous about the possibility that they’d funded the creation of this virus, and that they were determined to suppress questions about its origin.

A group of scientists convened by Dr. Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust, published a paper in which they claimed the virus was decidedly not the result of intentional engineering. They did admit accidental creation in a lab could not be ruled out, but that natural evolution was the most likely scenario. Some of these same scientists had previously shared details indicative of genetic engineering in emails to Fauci.

The ‘Proximal Origin’ paper, which was edited by Fauci and ‘debunked’ the lab leak theory without any evidence, became the most-read published paper in history. More than 2,000 media outlets have cited it to support their propaganda.”

Help OCA Put the Brakes on Reckless Genetic Engineering

Whether we’re talking about weaponizing viruses, bacteria, and insects in secretive, accident-prone labs, funded for “dual-use” by the military and Big Pharma; or untested and dangerous genetically engineered rushed to market “vaccines;” or unlabeled and hazardous genetically engineered foods such as the new generation of fake meat and fake dairy products, OCA has your back. We remain committed, as always, to exposing the dangers of Frankenfoods, Frankendrugs, endless war (and biowarfare), and environmental destruction, while planting the seeds of peace, participatory democracy, natural health, and organic and regenerative food and farming.

REGENERATIVE REVOLUTION

23 Reasons You Should Start a Garden in 2023

Gavin Mounsey writes in Substack:

“If you have been paying attention to the world of finance, industrial agriculture supply line fragility, nefarious government policies (being rolled out under the guise of “sustainability”), pharmaceutical cartels schemes, soil erosion rates and the activities of the most wealthy people on Earth over the past few years, you will know very well that we have some challenging times ahead.

With all that being said, this does not mean we should begin this new year without hope or in a fearful way…

Now is the time to reaffirm our alliances with the living Earth, to nurture new symbiotic relationships with the soil, people, plants and fungi in our local communities. Human empires rise and fall, and history teaches us that when they fall, it is those that know how to grow/forage for their own food, medicine and preserve it, that survived.”

MILLIONS AGAINST MONSANTO

Biden Administration and Big Ag Pressure Mexico to Reverse GMO & Glyphosate Ban

OCA has worked for years with our Mexican counterparts, Via Organica, Milliones Contra Monsanto (Millions Against Monsanto), Sin Maiz No Hay Pais (Without Corn There is No Country), and others to ban Monsanto/Bayer’s GMO corn and soybeans as well as the toxic herbicide, Roundup or glyphosate, which always accompanies these “herbicide-resistant” crops.

Nick Corbishly reports in Naked Capitalism:

“Mexico is not only dangerously dependent on US growers for its most important staple crop; it is growing more and more dependent by the year. Mexico’s government wants to reverse this dynamic, but the US has other ideas.

Mexico’s government recently unveiled plans to impose a temporary 50% export tax on white corn, a staple food in the country, which will remain in effect until at least June 30… Needless to say, the move did not go down well with the US government, which is threatening to sue Mexico’s government over its plans to phase out all imports of GMO crops, including corn, by the end of January 2024. Those plans were first set out in a presidential decree issued by Andrés Manuel López Obrador (aka AMLO) on Dec 31, 2020. The decree also pledges to prohibit use of the ‘probably‘ carcinogenic weedkiller glyphosate — the herbicide that commonly accompanies many GMO crops. The cultivation of GMO crops is already banned in Mexico.

In the words of the Non GMO Project, a Washington State-based non-profit, AMLO’s decree is ‘ambitious, controversial and well-worth defending.’ But it faces a towering wall of resistance, particularly from Big Ag lobbies in the United States.

The CEO of the US National Corn Growers Association, John Doggett, warned in November that AMLO’s decree would be ‘devastating’ both for the Mexican people, who will have to contend with much higher corn prices, and U.S. corn farmers, who will suddenly lose access to their largest overseas market. He also noted that GMO corn isn’t the only crop being targeted by Mexican officials: ‘Biotech soybeans, cotton and canola import approvals have also been rejected by Mexico’s regulatory agency over the past year.’

More than 92% of the corn grown in the States is GMO. Roughly a quarter of all the corn exported by the US goes to Mexico, where it is predominantly used for animal feed. As such, Mexico’s ban will undoubtedly hurt some US farmers.”

REAL FARMS, NOT FAKE FOOD

EU Revokes “Impossible Burger” Patent as Sales and Stock Prices of Genetically Engineered Fake Meat Decline

GM Watch reports:

“The European Patent Office (EPO) has revoked a European Union (EU) patent held by Impossible Foods, maker of the Impossible Burger.

In the U.S., Impossible’s fake meat products are manufactured with GMO yeast-derived soy leghemoglobin, a controversial ingredient that makes the fake meat look as if it’s bleeding, like undercooked real meat, and that we have argued may not be safe to eat… The news about Impossible’s patent fights comes in the wake of an article by Bloomberg describing the rapid decline in the fake meat industry, which it branded ‘a flop.’ The article is titled, ‘Fake meat was supposed to save the world. It became just another fad.’

Impossible shares, the article said, are currently trading at around $12 — about half the price during its last fundraising round.

And more recently Bloomberg has reported that Impossible is preparing to lay off about 20% of its staff, following another round of cuts in October when about 6% of its staff got laid off. The latest patent wars will only add to the industry’s woes.”
